Tammy Byers-Smith

Tammy has been in the veterinary field for 35 years. She started as a veterinary technician and moved through most roles in the hospital over the years, landing in Practice Management for the last 10. She has managed in NC, Minnesota, Pennsylvania and NY and has worked in Specialty/ER, urgent care and general practice. She loves caring for pets and clients, but most enjoys supporting the amazing veterinarians and dedicated support staff that put their hearts and souls into the real work of caring for them.  

She has a Newfoundland mix and an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees Mix. Her humans include a fiancé and 3 kids. In her free time, she likes to read, hike, play board games and spend time with family.
