Appointments for Sick or Injured Patients

If you have a sick or injured pet call our veterinary hospital as soon as possible. Our receptionist will assist you in making an appointment. Please call 585-654-6690.

Emergency visits start with an exam. Doctors examine your pet’s eyes, ears, skin, cardiovascular, neurological, gastrointestinal, and skeletal systems. Temperature, pulse, and respiration will be assessed.

Based on this information, the doctor will form a diagnostic plan. This plan may include lab tests to evaluate internal organ function, electrolyte status, and blood parameters. Additional tests – urinalysis, EKG, radiographs, etc. — may also be advised.

Appointments:

If there is an appointment slot available then you will be seen as a regular appointment provided your pet is not in an emergency situation.
